Bulbs

I have a couple of bulbs in my aquarium which appear to be growing but I am having trouble finding out much about them. Are they like normal bulbs which flower annually or after they have flowered are they unlikely to grow again. What sort of plant am I likely to grow I think it is a "nymphea stellata" bulb. Does anyone have a picture of this once it has fully developed.
