you can easily build a pond filter with house hold items.or purchase them for just a few dollars
things youll need:
*plastic container with lid
*large rubber bands
*foamrubber the more porus the better
*bio ball can be purchase but you can use plastic dish scrubbies they can hold allot of bio matter
*you will have to purchase a pond pump that will fit in your container
cut a hole in the lid and foam which you cut to size
insert your fountain with bio matter and rubber band it shut
you could save about 50 bucks
and even more if buy foam rubber to replace your filter pads and youll also have to drill small holes in lid and container to allow water flow
