I have a 30 gallon tank that I wanted to house some cichlids in. I know 55 gallon is preferable for many species but I have found a few that would be good in a 30 and I am looking for some more info on them. They would be Buffalo Head Cichlids (Steatocranus casuarius) and Lemon Cichlids (Neolamprologus Leleupi). They both stay small, around 4" so I think I would be able to stock a total of around 8 fish.
I am looking for any compatibility issues as well as other options for cichlids in a 30 gallon, Tang or Malawi.
