I just recently put in a new bubbler rock in my 29 gallon tank. I have a ten inch air stone that has been in there since I set up the tank three years ago. So now I have both going at once. My problem is that it is making tons and tons of bubbles in the tank. I was wondering if it was too much for the fish? Would it aggrivate them? Is it ok to have both bubbling at the same time? Will they get used to it, and it wont matter?

Thanks! :)

Personally, I have fast, bigger bubbles on one side of the tank, and finer bubbles on the other.

What I also use, are air-valves.. little taps that you connect between your airstone and the air feed pipe.. you can then adjust the flow with a simple twist.

See this page for a picture

thanks

So do you think there are too many bubbles for the fish? I think they are getting used to it.
