Bubbles?

Hi my betta has made a bubble nest and we don't have a filter so i have to clean the tank every week but since Fishy(my betta) has made a bubble nest i was wondering if I should still clean the tank? And how long will fishy keep making bubble nests?

Yes. Unless you are breeding your betta, the nest is just a confirmation that he is happy. I've had bettas rebuild as soon as I've replaced the water--others wait a while.

Bubble nests are a sign that your Betta is very happy and even getting a little bit "ready" for a female! (or a male)
and its so cute when you actually watch them doing it! Hehe... Mine did it all the time!

Yep, clean the tank. Bubblenests are a sign that a betta is happy. Not cleaning the tank will cause the water quality to deteriorate, and then he won't be so happy!

I feel guilty when my bettas make lovely nests and I wreck them while changing water, so you can scoop some of the nest out and replace it after the clean. Sometimes they continue to add to this nest!
