Right...my mollies seem to take air from the surface and let out bubbles which collect on the water surface. Is this a common thing?
Also, they are mating but because she is so white, i cant detect well if she is pregnant. Her belly is a bit round..but not plump enough though. SO do you think she could be slowly becoming pregnant?
Thirdly, i have naughty angels in my tank, and i am worried they will eat the new borns. What do i do? My plants are still young and dont reach the surface yet, so they cant hide there...so....what do i do guys? How do i protect the new borns? I know i could get those fancy aparatus to put the female in ... but i hear it might stress and abort the pregnancy...so what do i do???? Am in a crisis here....help!!!

Sorry for the delay in replying. :X

Are they gasping at the surface? Do you have an air bubbler? What are your water stats?

Yes, it's definitely possible she's becoming pregnant, especially if you have a male in the tank.

I'd suggest you get a lot of thick, floating plants. The fry will hide in those, and it will also be harder for the Angels to get to them. If you plan on raising a lot of fry, I'd suggest you look into a seperate fry tank. And you're right to avoid the breeder traps/nets, they pose a lot of risk for the female. You could get a breeder net and just scoop the fry into there once they are born, however the fry can only stay in there for a couple weeks, otherwise you risk stunting.

Good luck! :)
