Bubblenests

I have heard people talk about them on here and I have no clue what they are? My betta does not do much of any bubbling that I can see.. is this a bad sign? and what should I do to get him to do this?

Bubble nests are made by male bettas. They make bubbles anf the float to the top and all stay together. This is for when they mate. The males will take the fertilzed eggs and put them in the bubble nest.

My betta male Rainbow doesn't make them often at all.

Do you have a filter or current in your tank? this could be disturbing the betta putting him off from bubblenesting All my bettas bubblenest after each water change they have no current and they are all perfectly happy
