Bubblenest

Hey everyone. I've been reading around here and have noticed that many people say their male bettas make bubble nests. Should I be concerned that mine doesn't? He'll blow a bubble once in a while, but not bubblenest like.

Nope, not all bettas blow bubble nests, i have a couple that i haven't got a bubble from since i got them, and others that blow their brains out.

Both of mine bubblenest but like l.michelle said not all do. He could be doing it but you just cant see it because something might break it apart like if you have a filter or if you have an airstone in there. Dont be concerned if he doesnt bubblenest, theres nothing wrong with him.

The one male I have left now doesn't make his own but hangs out underneath the bubbles from his little box filter. I think he's letting machines do his work for him!!
