Bubblenest Donor

Hypothetical question: If a male and female are in a breeding tank and all the conditions are perfect (ie male flaring like hell, female barring up, etc) except for one thing - the male isn't building a bubblenest, would it be okay to get a bubblenest from another betta and put it in the breeding tank? Would the male actually learn from this?

I've heard someone mention something like this before, but I forgot what it was exactly.

The idea most people try is to transfer part of a nest into the spawning tank, so the male will have something to work with and remind him to build a nest
