i got a bubble wand and it worked great and looked fantastic but after about 12-18 hours of use the bubbles basically stopped coming out minus a few small bubbles so i took it out wiped it off put back in and it worked great again for another 12-18 hours...is there a way i can make it for i dont have to clean it off everyday? taking it out everyday has become a pain and ruins the decor of my tank

Dose this device attach to your filters outlet flow?

no its attached to an air pump

could your airpump be sucking in dust particles, has the filter floss come out or become clogged.
If you have sand for subtrate try raising it.

Keith.

i had it raised it did it so i tried putting it under the sand still did it ....im not sure what you mean by filter floss

On the airpump where it draws in the air there should be a small piece of white coloured filter floss to stop any debri getting into the airline.
Do you have a none return valve fiited on the airline?

nope just a line from pump to bubblewand

I think what could be happening is when you turn the airpump off it is drawing sand into the bubble wand if so a "non return valve" could be the answer. You can pick one up for a couple of quid.

i dont turn the pump off tho....and i dont know what a quid is

Couple of quid=Two British pounds.
The only other possible reason i can think of is that fine debri is being sucked into the airpump and then clogging up the wand.

and it that is the case any possible ways to prevent? like its a band new pump as of a month ago

I can only assume that debri is possibly getting into the airflow. On the airpump there will be the intake hole which draws in oxygen from your room, this hole should have a small ammount of filter floss covering it to stop debri getting into the airline.
