Is there any way a bubble wall (one of those things you bury in the substrate that you hook up to an air filter to make a wall of bubbles) would work in sand? :\

Airline suction cups attached to the bottom of the tank. Just move the gravel out of the way and then aquascape accordingly.

But hiding it under sand won't work, will it? I was thinking about putting one of those bendy things that let bubbles out under the substrate to make like a wall, but won't it push the sand and you'll be able to see it? :(

Use suction cups and put plants in front or put it behind an ornament with suction cups.

We have our bubble wall under the sand and the sand still covers it, it looks great.

ye it should be ok with a nice slow stream of small bubbles coming from it...i had one in my unplanted tank and it worked fine (its planted now tho)

But over time mine did kick the sand out of the way

Just buy a little valve when you gte the bubble wall so you can adjust the flow...

as long as its not really intense, you should have no trouble with it
