Bubble Nesting.....in Miniature....

Ok so wandering up to the fry this morning, little cuties can now flare...so thats one thing all grown up they have learnt to do but bubble nesting!!! Yes I looked at my oldest fry and he was making a bubble nest! I never knew this could happen so young! The nest rivals his fathers!!! and he's what 5cm long?

Also here is a shot of them all together the one's who arent too nippy!

I have never seen my betta do this?

Some bettas don't make a bubble nest without the presence of a female some do its upto personality. Generally the making of a bubble nest is a good sign that the fish is happy as it is preparing to spawn.

Each post has it's own reply button which will copy it into your reply. At the bottom there is another reply button which just does your reply and no copying. It's abit confusing as they are so close together

Tilly..............that is a great little nest. Soooo cute when they do that so young. Well done too for getting them all in focus in the 2nd pic lol. They look so great and such a variety in there

Thanks guys glad you like them! I guess thats a he then doing his little nest! i was just a bit concerned Id have them breeding again before I knew it! seems so weird him having his tiny weeny little nest for a second there I thought oh god maybe its time for their new homes already!

They def look like they are but actually they are PK x HM ! the Hm have Half sun in the family genetics I think
