Unless you've been bathing your fish with bubblebath , it certainly does look like a bubblenest

howlong will it take for himto attract the female in

Here is a pic of my male under his bubble nest and one of him working on the nest. As far as when he will atract the female I can't answer cause he just turned dark and ran her off while he was working on it. But I just put her in the tank yesterday (which I guess is what triggered him to build the nest suddenly) and she is way smaller than him so may not be ready for laying eggs.
