Bubble Nest Won't Stick?

My male betta, Melinko, has been trying to build a nest for my female, Bell, for three days now. His bubbles wont stick, he gets about 5 or 6 rows of them and they just start popping. I have them in fresh water with anacharis and part of a plastic plate floating on top. any I dea if I can add something to the tank to help? I have 3 other tanks so I can get old water to use if I need to. The top of the tank is covered with solid glass and there is no filtration or aireration. Let me know what will help, Thanks,

Indian almond leaf or extract may help. It makes the water sort of, thicker.

I haven't seen anything like that, I live in the US and some more specialized stuff is a bit hard to find. The search will continue!

I second IAL, i dont live in the US but I know that you can get it, look on ebay for staters.
