Bubble In Tail?

I was just feeding my betta and I noticed he has like a bubble thing on his tail? Like its in his tail or something?

His tail is a purple colour, and so is the bubble.

Any ideas on what it could be?

Could anyone please let me know if its painful?

can you get a picture of this?

i'm not sure i've heard anything like this before... unless you are referring to a "bubble tail" betta (type of Crowntail) which appears to have bubbles between the crowns.

Doesn't sound like that is what you are talking about tho. I'm anxious to see if anyone else knows what is going on.
