Bubble Bars?

Do cichlids enjoy bubble bars or is it better for me to leave them out and let them go to the surface ?

some cichlids require more oxygenation of the water than others. lugubris pikes require alot of oxygenation so I actually have 2 bars going plus I keep the water level down low so that there is alot of surface action going on. but as a general rule I usually provide 2 per 4 foot of tank length.

How about oscar and texas cichlid tanks?

The oscar, if small should like it, but the Texas should like it the most, either way, you probably should get one
