I recently saw that a lfs had live bryne shrimp for consumption. looks like my bubs are gettin some snacks soon...

But how do I really keep shrimp ready for consumption? Do I put them in a jar w/ saltwater? Buy a billion? another fish tank for bryne shrimp?

all I really know is that before you give them to your betta... you wash them w/ fresh water...

who has expeerience w/ thse live guys

they're selling hatched brine shrimp? that's different.

ask the LFS how much salt they're using in the mixture or if they'll dip you out some extra brine (saltwater). put the brine shrimp in a rinsed-out soda bottle and add an airline. keep in a warm place.

don't expect the brine shrimp to last for very long; they'll probably die off after just a couple of days. your best bet is to only buy as much as you plan to feed in a single day.

(by the way, you can expect a better response to your posts if you use standard English. many of us are picky that way and often just won't feel bothered to respond. it's ok to misspell things, but plural words don't end in "z" and you should complain to your local schoolboard if no one's ever told you that before.)

ok well so you buy the egss...?

and i was just playing w/ the topic description... but thanks for the ridiculous advice  ... i mean ur right i wouldve gotten a better response w/ better "grammar"

Much better to buy the eggs, the fry need the newly hatched ones. The older bettas like the slightly bigger ones. Much easier to hatch your own.
