I went down to the fish shop yesterday and they had brussell sprouts in the tank does anyone feed there own fish this, and if so do u have to cook it first? also do you have to cook peas or just defrost them?

ps... are the peas supposed to float or sink?! :dunno:

Brussells sprouts are very popular with a lot of fish, even many carnavores!

they should be cooked first as it softens the flesh and makes them sink.

That's interesting. I wondered about brussel sprouts as I'd heard a lot about peas (defrost a couple and mash them, is how I've done it). I chose not to give a brussels sprout coz I couldn't find any advice about them.

Will they have the same effect on a fish as they seem to on men!!!!
Frrraaaappp!

I dunno, because I can't stand the the nasty things.
I call them 'The Devil's bogies'

:) If you have fish that like vegetables then feed them; cooked brussels sprout....blanched spinach....blanched broccoli..blanched cabbage....defrosted peas....blanched lettuce...raw slice of potatoe....blanched cucumber...blanched courgette(zuchinni in America) and thin slices of watermelon.

basically anything you can think of that they may like :D
