On my Amazon Sword, some of the tips of the leaves are browning. I have been watching them really closely for the past week and the brown(dead leaf) is still spreading.

Light is very low, a little under 1WPG, no Co2 injection, light is on for about 9-10 hours a day (2800K), there is no natural sunlight hitting the tank at all.

I am dosing fertilizers 0.15-0-0 is what it says in the bottle.

I also read that swords do not repair themselves? I do no know if this is true or not, but what can be done to stop the brown dead leaf part from spreading?

Cut off the tips?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I'd be inclinded to put some root tabs under the swords, towards the roots to give them extra nutrients. Might then prune any old/ugly leaves by pulling them off as close as u can to the root base.
