hey. Can anyone identify the problem with this plant?

untitled1.JPG

I have lots of these brown marks all over my plants, not just this one. I use diy co2 but dont use ferts yet - cos they havent arrived yet. Had these before i used diy cos. Upgraded to reflectors 2 days ago so more light.

Any help is appreciated.

has it dimished any since you added reflectors?

i had that on one leaf of an echindorus i had. but now i've upped lighting by 300% and added pressurized co2 it's visibly retreating. i think it must be a form of algae that my higher co2 levels are making it hard to grow.

Mmm. I think the "aquatic" name refers to the plant being able to survive partially submerged as opposed to fully submerged. There are no true aquatic bamboos. Keep an eye on it, when it start to rot, take it out.
So this was sold to me under false pretences and cant actually survive in the aquarium. Sod that. I didnt buy a plant to liik pretty for a few days. Gonna contact the seller...............
Cheers guys
