Hi
Noticed today that i have brown spots on the back of my tank, and green hair algae on leaves of the plants. I didnt have this before yesterday im sure its because i left the lights on too long.
I have cut photoperiod significantly and am only running 2 x 80w tubes. Should i black out or just use flourish excel? I need to start dosing ferts too, but now im wary this will lead to an algae bloom. Can i dose EI, but only use half doses? OR should i buy new plants to soak up excess nutrients??
