Brown Color On Pc's

I'm noticing that on my pc's that the bulbs are turning slightly brown. Not the bulbs part exactly but the part where the cords connect. It's a coralife aqualight double tube fixture. I'd get a pic but my computer that it works on the monitor broke and I can't right now. Has anybody heard of this, is it bad or good?

How long have you been running these bulbs? When florescents run for a long time they show there age by turning brownish/blackish.

You mean the plastic moulding on the edge of the bulb? This is normal.
