Me and my brother went fishing in a local swamp/pond this morning. After catching tons of sunnies, my brother caught a baby brown bullhead catfish. The catfish swallowed the hook, so my brother emptied our worm container and placed the catfish in there. Soon after, he caught another one that also had swalloed the hook. He decided to keep this one also. So we rushed home, and placed the catfish in a 5 gallon cooler. I do have a 30 gallon tank that is home to a 3 mollies, a pl*co, and a couple of zebra danios. We plan on keeping the catfish in the 30 gallon after a couple of days of quarantine. What should we do, as both of them have hooks inside of them, to improve their chances of survival?? I know somebody is gonna tell me to let them go, but their my brothers fish, and I have no say. Their about 2-3 inches each. I'll get a pic up soon.

Heres a pic. There is a fake plant in there, but it was blocking the view, so I took it out for the pics.

Update: One of them died, but the other one seems to be fine, and I found the hook in the coolor, which means he got the hook out of him. The only problem is that I am having trouble getting him to eat. I have tried worms and waterbugs and such, and I even tried regualr fishfood and those things thats for bottom feeders. Any help would be appreciated.

You could have just let them go and their body fluids would have disovled the hook. Try putting a whole live worm or a piece of bloody raw meat. He might not eat due to the stress though.
