Brown Breeder Net

has anyone ever had their mesh breeder net turn brown. it looks like maybe the brown algae in my tank got to it. Im not sure but i dont like it its making my water look nasty

....clean it with some hot water no soap.

I have that exact same thing, however i've never had it turn brown. Try the above mentioned:scrub under hot water.
