Brown Blobs

i have just noticed them on my tank today there are also smallish green spots aswell above the brown ones. is this algae

It sounds like it could be algae. Could you get a picture up maybe?

It looks just like algae. So i wouldn't worry about it. Scrap it off with a sponge made for you fish tank, and it'll be fine. It may come back, it depends on the conditions of your tank though.

i have palnts and everything so dont see how its come although a few day ago i put black card on th back of the tank just as a plain background
