Brown Alge

i keep getting brown alge on my tank so often and i clean my tank regular too would it have anything to do with the lighting

where is the tank? does it get any natural light?

How long has your tank been set up? Brown algae is very common in new tanks. It is diatoms that feed on the silica released into the water from the silicone sealing the glass tank. It will eventually clear up on it's on. Also, adding more light can get rid of it bt be careful as extra light may help trigger other forms of algae.

Since you say you clean it regularly, I guess it is not a new tank so too much light or direct sunlight could be a problem but those usually don't lead to brown algae.
