broken heater boling fish please help

You mean the temp is to high, do a water change in cooler water but don't fetch it down to much first off as it will cause stress and shock.

Add some stress coat after you do a water change and put cooler water in. And unplug the heater and once the temp starts to get lower than 74 degrees plug it in until it heats back to 78 then unplug it once it gets to 80 and unplug and repeat process until you can get a new heater.

Do a water change and add some ice cubes, keep the tank light out, also alot of aeration as high temp reduce the 02 in the water, do you have any extra airstones, also maybe put a fan near the tank with the lid off to cool the tank down.

You mean you moved the fish to another tank what is the temp, and did you climatise them to the different temp

Good luck, watch out for whitespot with altering the temp.

You could try them in a container of this.
Aspirin 50 grains/10 gallons prolonged bath relieves shock and stress for fresh and salt water

Aspirin as a headache tablet that we use, just let them settle down now in peace and quiet, with no tank light on, but just keep checking on them, good luck hope they pull through there ordeal.
