Broken Glass Canopy

Today, while I was doing water change I put the glass canopy on the side and I stepped on it and broke it. I taped it and it seems to hold up fine but is it ok with the heat from my double coralife compact fluorescent lights? Should I just buy a new one?

For the cost involved, I would just nip down to the local glass cutter and get a new piece cut. Ask for polished edges though

How much does it cost and they can take the glass off the black middle part and put it back on? Where would I find such service?

Not quite with you on this, can you post a picture of the setup?

If your talking about the glass condensation cover? Just take the pieces of broken glass to your local glass cutter and ask for a replacement if it is just broke in 2
Should not cost much.

I have this exact canopy. and the middle glass it's broken on the right side, 3 lines vertically.
