Broke My Livebearer Cherry! (lots Of Pics)

The Endler tank has come on nicely. After an initial problem with hair algae I have reduced the amount of light and also started dosing Flourish Excel and dosing basic EI fertilsation. I'm going to play about with some mini rocks tomorrow and see if I can add another dimension to it :)

Anyhow, the tank this evening:

I am ever so impressed and very inspired by the above, props mate

Thanks alot!

I was just looking at the original pic from when I started this tank. I'm amazed how much the weeping moss has grown! I'm going to give it another week or two and then give it a good hair cut. It should then grow back nice and compact :)

Oh your tank looks awesome now--tempted to mess about with my endler tanks now-but then theyre happy so maybe i'll leave em alone. The colours looks cool -that green is well vibrant-set off by the dark sand. :good:

Added a few small pieces of rock today for aesthetics :) Amano shrimp are all over it already, not that there is any algae on it...

Also upgraded the filter. I got rid of the horrid Fluval 1+ and replaced it with an Eheim classic 2213! 400lph! I fitted it with the spray bar first, but it was far to powerful (could only use half the length of spraybar). I took that off and left the open end and, while still quite powerful, its about right. Fish seem to enjoy the extra current but there are still quiet spots for them to rest in.

Added 20 cherry shrimp to this tank on Saturday and they've all settled in really well. I also have babies! I have 2 fry at about 2 or 3 weeks old and about 10 fry that are about a week old now! I also have a single new born dwarf platy fry in there that I rescued from the other tank :)

Few updated pics. Moss needs a trim :)

Possibly the parents? May be the other pair!

I need to take some better pics :) I was hastily taking a few pics before work this morning :)

Awwwwwww the Ickle Cherries loook Cool.

Thanks!

Its taken a little work, but generally it hasn't been too difficult. Just time consuming initially :) I'm still working on the scapes. This one needs more hair grass planting all around the back, as there is a bold patch

It's only taken a month to grow the moss from the pics in march to these recent ones :) I was suprised when I compared the two pics!
