British Livebearer Association Auction 2008

Any one attending this please note that you now have to be a member of the BLA to bid for fish (i only just found out myself yesterday.)

Can someone become a member, go to the auction, bid for something-or-other for me and drop it off at my house please.

Thanks

LOL no i dont think so, but you could always go along and join your self ;)

the member ship runs from Jan the first for 1 year and costs £12 to uk members
£16 to over sea's members.

Also I'm sure u can join on the day, sure Dunchp will confirm this when he logs on.

How much is member ship as a few people are coming with me

That would be meeee! Not sure if I'll buy any fish, but I'm looking forwards to our road trip :) Taking in the show, taking in some stores on the way home. Good day methinks! :good:

Thanks again Gill for letting me tag along!

Hi Guys,

Alan is right, membership is £12 a year running from January to January.

For your money you get 4 magazines, a convention in October with expert, specialist, international speakers , a show and an auction also a further auction in March and access to many private breeders from all over the country. We are also discussing rolling out numerous other things which will make the membership even better value for money over the next year or so.

The club is non profit making which means that we use whatever money we make into furthering the hobby for the good of our members.

Just Got Back after leaving the House @ 9am. I am so Knackered but will try and get pix uploaded tonight - took over 300 pix.

Was so nice to meet everyone and really enjoyed the talk Dunchp gave on collecting fish in Guatemala. Almost got all the fish i wanted and can't wait for them to acclimate so i can get beter pix of them.

HelterSkelter your pix came out blurry, it focused on the 2 guys sitting infornt of me and not on you.

Also though I'll just say now i spent £70 on fuel and £50 on fish!!!! goo day i think

I got Pink endlers (picks to come) and Moscow black and Panda guppies for a friend
