Try varying the veg every 24 hrs, cucumber is ok for them but contain very little nutritional value, courgette is far better but most veg can be used and they would benefit the plecs if it was rotated often, always use algae wafers aswell again for variation to the diet.

Hi there - please also be aware thst they will take ordinary flake and they do like the occasional meaty meal just like your other fish (worms, daphnia, shrimp brine etc) which they will benefit from.
