Bristlenose plec

Thinking about getting a bristlenose as I have a few Ottos but they are not doing a great job of keeping the glass clean... or keeping much algae down at all actually! How aggressive do the Plecs get and is it likley to be OK in a fully planted tank with shrimp, kuhlis, danios and cardinals?

Bnose plecs are compatible with any other fish though they may quarrel a bit with other bottom dwellers. I have bnoses with cories are they get along fine.

They do keep the glass clean though not to the extent that you will never need to do an algae scrape again. I find the less food I put in for them the more glass cleaning they do. When they are well fed om cucumber, zucchini, algae tabs etc. then forget it, they become lazy so-and-so's.
