Hi everyone, we currently have a bullnose plec in our 300l tank which is my 3 year old sons pride and joy. Without fail its the first thing he looks for every morning so this fish has to stay. But, its not the best algae eater by any means, devours wafers but barely touches the algae. We have 3 zebra snails and are thinking of getting more to keep the algae down. I posted the other day that my mum had got this fantastic sucking loach and her tank was spotless, turns out to be a cae and has killed 2 gouramis! I have read about bristlenose plecs being really efficient at keeping tanks clean from algae, is this true? And can they be kept with a bull nose plec or would there be problems?
Thanks
