Hiya Folks im only new around here and like to say " HI " :kana:

I got a 2 foot x 1 foot sized fresh water aquarium with my betta fish and 2 snails my temperture is sitting around 24-25°c. I got my self today 2 good sized brisslenose cat fish at my lps and all they have been doing for the last few hours the sarvo is hinding behind my filter, i turned my aquarium light off for 1 hour or so and they started to come out slowy but as soon as i turn the light on the dumb fish swims back behind the filter and doesnt move, I have also tryed to feed it but it doesnt pay any attendion.

Any help is much Appreciated.

Thx BeYoNd*

well bristle nose are like half nocternal. for the first 2 -3 weeks u have them they will hide nd eventually get used to ur tank over time.but the less hiding space they got the more of a chance ull see em.

Don't forget to introduce yourself in the newbie section. :D The behavior that you are describing sounds normal for a bristlenose in a new tank. Give him time and he may become more social.
