Aftanoon guys and gals!

i jus got my waterlife shelless brine shrimp eggs from ebay and im not sure how to go about hatching them.

instructions say add to salty water and leave aerated vigourously for 24-72 hours.

can someone go into a bit more detail than that?

how much salt shud i add to the water???

how vigourous do they mean??

and lastly. i dont think i have spare heater lying around so is the 30 degree temp essential or can i do it somewhere pretty warm like the airing cupboard?

oh and whilst im here. do the eggs jus grow out the liquid (think its liquid, havent tried any yet).

thanx!!

You don't need a heater to hatch brine shrimp.

I use an aquatic salt, so just followed the instructions on the salt pack. You can get away with table salt but someone else will provide correct dosing any minute now...

It really is at easy as it sounds. Put the eggs in a container with lighted salted water from the tap with an air stone and wait...

Cheers

Karl.

jus to be sure?

are you from the UK???

jus that the water will be cooler at room temp here than in somewhere like the U.S

thanx again.

EDIT - one more thing hehe.

will they still hatch in a deep bowl?

my tank i had planned for this is now full of 45ish platty fry
