Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to feed my fry brine shrimp when I can't find baby brine shrimp? Can I give them a spin in a liquidiser? Lol, or do I not bother even trying to work something out?

What species/size are the fry? Decapsulated brine shrimp are a good alternative to live brine shrimp, as are Walter worms, banana worms and microworms.

Ok here's the thing...I cannot bring myself to feed anything live...it has to be frozen....and all I have really is a choice of brine shrimp, bloodworms or daphnia....
My fry are two week old platys.

Powdered fish foods, just be sure to feed a selection of different brands as you would to adult fish.

Flakes can easily be powdered between fingers, but granules are easiest done in a mortar, but you can do both in a grip-lock bag using a rolling pin.

I do have powdered fry food, I was wanting to give them something different like the frozen shrimp brine but it's too big for them.

You can buy frozen bbs- get Hikari brand for best quality. You really need to gut load either bbs over about 8 hours from hatching or adult brine to get any real nutritional value to the fish.

Ok, thanks....thing is there are very limited Hikari items here in UK....I will stick with the powder until they are big enough to enjoy some of the other foods....there is nothing worse tho then tipping in a little shrimp brine before realising its WAY to big for them, then see them trying their hardest to swim off with it but can't eat it...bless them lol.....
