Hi everyone!

A few days ago I just set up a brine shrimp hachery in a ten gallon aquarium. It is really nice and I will be able to hatch them now very easily. My question though is about the salinity. Soposedly the need the same ammount of salt as regular sea water. Since I am too cheap to buy a hydrometer and my lfs doesnt have any doo any of you know the approximate weight of salt that I would need per gallon to create sea water? Thanks

Kevin

I bought some aquarium salt last week and the qty was written on the box

I'll try to take a look when I get home

If I remember correctly what Mr Attenborough said on Blue Planet, Brine Shrimp live in water that has such a high salt content that no other living creature can survive there.

As to weight/per volume I'm affraid I don't know. :(
