Brick Question

I put a brick in one of my tanks yesturday because I needed an extra rock to make a cave I was working on for my loaches. I actually had it in my brackish tank for a few days but washed it real good and stuck it in there. Is that going to hurt anything?

Not the fact that it was in my brackish tank but that fact that its a brick.

Depends what it is made of. If it's cement I wouldn't put it in the tank. If its one of those old red smaller bricks(something kiln dried) I think it would be fine.

Yeah its a red brick. what could it do to harm my tank so I know what to watch for.
