Breeding

Well I have guppys and plattys in my tank because i love the colours and patterns on them. Though i do know they breed like crazy and some day they are going to over take my take. I have a LFS they will buy them off me or swap them for more fish or plants etc... Also i will be putting the preg fish in a breeding box so the fry have more chance to survive. Whats my Question? Well at what size roughly could i put the fry into the tank with other fish ?

If your putting them back with the parents/plattys/coys that you said on your other thread then I would wait until they are 3/4 of an inch.

fry should sex out at 5-6 weeks and by 8-10 weeks be colourful enough to sell
but most shops in our area dont pat well but if u want to swap for foods or plants or something then thats fine

A few of my fry have been coloured since birth its quite obvious who the mother is as they have nearly the exact same colouration even though they are only 1-2 weeks old.
