Thinking about breeding my VT. What tail and color?

Some people say I should use a yellow HM female or PK female to get wider branches. I don't know if I should do that or stick with a female VT instead.

What are your goals? Are you trying to just breed for experience..... Or breeding to get quality fish... If you are trying to breed for quality fish. Then it's not worth it. If you are breeding VT's but I believe it's never good for a beginner breeder to mix tailtypes..l I would just use a yellow VT female

breeding to get experience and I thought VT's were easiest to breed. I will try to see if I can find a yellow one.

There is no easiest to breed Betta splendens. IME. Tail type does effect spawning but not that much, HMPK are easy spawners IME
