After the death of my Betta I converted my 5 gallon tank into a shrimp and snail community tank. It now appears that the Neocardina are breeding and I see offspring. Will the adult shrimp eat the fry? Do I have to separate the little ones from the adults if they are to survive? Thanks.

They are normally fine together but if the adults don't get enough food, they might eat them. If you feed them well, they shouldn't touch the babies.

I have red cherry shrimps ranging from egg carrying females down to newly hatched shrimps on my tank. I regularly siphon up tiny shrimplets during a water change so they are surviving rather than being eaten. I empty the old water from the bucket with a jug to check for shrimps before throwing the water away.
