Breeding Platys

Has anyone else had trouble breeding platys? I have one male and four females in a 20 gallon tank and one male and three females in a ten gallon tank. Now I watch my fish every day and there has yet to be a sign on any breeding going on. Ive had all these platys for about 3 months now and no babies. My water parameters on both the tanks are good. Ammonia 0 on both, Nitrites 0 on both and Nitrates about 10 on both. My ph has always stayed at a consistent 7.5. Temp is around 77 to 80. What gives?

that might be it but I just figured with all of them that at least one would be pregnant by now.

try feeding them with a little live food once a 2x a week this should help the females produce eggs, you do actually get sterile females and they will never develope egss infact some males can also be sterile
