thank's! If you feed them Baby Brine shrimp you will have very large fish for their age. But it can also comprimise there immune system if you dont feed them some spirulina or sometihng with a natural immune booster in it. Why dont you try Convict Cichlid's? It took a month to reach half 1/4 inch size. And now 4 month's later, i have one that is over 1 and a half inches. But i learned the hard way and just feed them brine shrimp babies. I lost all but 10 babies from the over a hundred i started out with. I parents take care of the babies as far as protection( they are very very very very mean fishies). Yoiu could always stick with livebearer's though.
