Breeding Plans And Pair

Just want some opinions on my chosen pair and on my breeding plan, make sure i haven't missed anything

Spawntank - a 35l shallow storage tub (one of those underbed ones) with a 50watt heater (28?) and a sponge filter for after the fry are freeswimming. plenty of plants/mosses for female and fry. Something to build nest under.

Once the fry are around 2cmish i plan on upgrading them to a 75l growout (2 if needed) until seperated.

Jars will again my storage boxes holding 7l which i may split in 2 depending on numbers

Food wise i have BBS, Microworms, Betta Pellets (these are tiny, my livebearer fry eat them)

I plan on doing 25-50% every 2-3days

That all sound ok?

Oh, OK. I think your meant to remove the female once they have stopped anyway.

i will be but theres chasing involved before the actual spawning so don't want a bare tank with no where for her to escape too

Good point I forgot about that... This is probably because I leave my paradise fish together before and after spawning, they live together. He does chase her but she hides in the plants pot's. While there is a nest she helps him out but he doesn't like her for it.
