Patience...... here's what you want to do.

Condition the pair you got from me then breed them for F2.

I would expect, from this spawn, you would still get all Combtails. Even IF the male is combie, you cannot expect quality CT's from that. I'm curious why you are spawning if you aren't interested in even F2 spawns? It definitely takes more than one spawn to begin to shape a line, even if you start with 2 very pure CT Bettas.

Sorry, I just cannot imagine the want to breed Bettas if it's only a one-time thing. It isn't bettering *anything* in my opinion.

Male copper HMPK and female green mask CT, right? Or is the female CTPK?

This isn't a one-time thing, splashluff. I am doing an f2. Eventually. And even an f3. Just not right now. I'm just trying to find the best possible pair to breed for f1 (without getting any combs or veils). Sorry, I'm not an experienced breeder. But thanks for all your opinions.
