Breeding Net

hello today i found a old ice cream tub which i want to use as a breeding net. The only problem is i cant get the paper off it no matter what i do. Wil the paper harm the fish? or will the plastic? is so what else could i use for a breeding net? thanks in advance

anything that is food safe is usually fish safe. The cardboard will have ink in it though and maybe glue which I wouldn't trust . A proper breeding trap/net is not expensive and would be far better

Yeah i agree, we bought our breeding net in local garden center fish section & only cost a couple of £s, its fully collaspable so can b packed away when not needed!!!

My breeding net got all dirty and covered in algae so i swapped it to my old breeding trap...but breeding nets are better and have alot more room...when i clean it...somehow...ill swap back
