I have put the link to the topic in the arfican section, but I feel the same would apply to this section, I just cant type it all out again sorry.

im sure i read somewhere that your not meant to feed them when they have a brood on the go could be wrong just something springs to mind
 
So sorry it may not apply to all mouthbrooders I know, but I am not an expert on each individual mouth brooding fish, yes some you dont need to feed, but in my case i was suppose to as the young actually fed in the mouth.

If I had just copied and pasted no doubt I would have been moaned at for posting in the wrong section hence the link.

Dont know why I bothered.
 
sorry about your fish i no you must be really gutted right now but it was an accident and its good of you to let other people know so they can avoid the heart ache

Its good information for anybody with mouthbrooding fish to take note of, whilst it may not apply to some species, it could to others and its always best to be on the look out for things like this.

Star4, dont worry about your comments, your upset, frustrated and its easy to take posts on here (and other forums) to heart. I hope the rest of the fish are well and continue to thrive in your very good care :)
