Okay well I haven't bought any yet, but do plan to... Now i've had a pair before and they only ever made one set of eggs in the 6 months I owned them.

Nothing ever came of the eggs and they dissapeared within 2 days... I thought maybe the kuhli loaches and zebra loaches may have played a part in this?

How long does it take for baby kribensis to grow to say 2cm in a 125L tank?

What are the chances of my rainbows (boesmani, turquoise and dwarf neon) getting killed by the protective krib parents?

Thanks for your help.

Tim.

It is quite likely that the loaches managed to nip in and eat the eggs. The rainbows should be ok as they are quite fast moving but they might try to eat little Krib fry :/
The fry are quite slow growing - mine took about 4 months to get to a sellable size, and even then they are still pretty teeny tiny :)
