Breeding Guppies ( Help )

I have a pregant guppie and she seems to be taking for ever to deliver. Her black spot sometimes is really dark and other times seems to be a bit red. I put her in a smaller tank by her self. I noticed today she was rubbing her belly over the rocks. If you can help me in anyway ! Id apprecite any advice and information. Thanks

Thats a normal thing with live bearers like guppies. When the gravid spot is black the fry are pointed toward the back of the mom. when it is red or a lighter color they are pointed toward the front. Usually it is red in the morning, is this what you have seen? HTH

Don't worry, she will be giving birth soon. Just don't stress her out! Mother Nature will take it's course.

similar thing is happening in my tank, sorry to hijack,
anyway, when should it be seperated from the rest and put in a trap or seperate tank, cos she seems kinda lonely so im hoping to delay caging her until the last few days, (i caged her before but my sisters have made some attempts of liberating it)
can any1 gimme an estimate of HOW fat it got, like as in dimensions?
