Breeding fry for food?

You know what you people that feed fry to your fish are evil,

God what does that make me then My fish dont just eat the fry they eat the parents too A lot of the fish i keep are piscivors and refuse to eat anything else so i have to give them guppies,danios and small tetras,whatever the lfs will sell me cheap that week.

I would breed my own but they dont grow big enough quick enough and the mrs would want to keep them all.

I guess I must be evil too......just reading the title to the post "breeding fry for food" I thought " What a great idea! My eel would LOVE that"

What about us folks that only buy females and within the first month we have over 200 Guppy/Molly/Platy/Swordtail fry? Should we go out and buy 20 more tanks to house them all? What about the next month when we have 200 more fry , and again the month after that . As livebearers can store sperm for up to 3 months, sometimes you have no choice about whether you want fry or not....you just get them. If it is evil to feed them to other fish and no lfs is willing to take them what do we do?
It may not be to everyones liking that fish eat fish....but that's nature...not evil ...I'm not trying to be harsh here, just realistic.

i find it useful to feed my large fish the fry of guppies. This cuts costs of feeding down and guppies can be a good source of food for larger fish. I personally see no problem whatsoever in it.

I know it sounds awful and I for one wasnt planning on feeding my fry to the other fish but I dont have any other choice I dont have any more room for any more tanks in my house and I cant afford to buy a new house just so I can house the extra babies I was just planning on planting up the tanks real good and hope for the best I guess the strong will survive and I am sorry you think everbody is mean but if you want my babies the you pay for the shipping and I will gladly send them to you.

i agree with puffer pack its not our fault they want sox so badly just treat the food with fish (cannibalism) hehe
